BlackLight Power's new hydrogen technology is validated by Rowan University
New green business careers may be on the horizon as inventor company BlackLight Power's new hydrogen renewable energy technology has been positively verified by researchers from Rowan University.
Applying BLP's solid-fuel chemistry technology capable of continuous regeneration, the scientists formulated and tested fuels that generated energy greater than that of combustion at power levels of kilowatts.
"[We have] independently and consistently generated energy in excesses ranging from 1.2 times to 6.5 times the maximum theoretical heat available through known chemical reactions," lead scientists on the study said in a joint statement.
BLP researchers add the reaction may be scalable to any level, and they were also able to regenerate the fuel by simply applying heat, which may lead to a new non-polluting energy source.
Experts in green chemistry are at the forefront of this type of research and can expect bright business career prospects as the government has promised billions of dollars in investment for clean and renewable energy sources. Interested individuals may gain the right skills by enrolling into a PhD program.
Official statistics suggest environmental scientists will see a 25 percent increase in demand for their skills over the next seven years, and top earners in the field can make more than $94,670.
