Online degrees from Anaheim University to get cheaper

Updated: Thursday, August 6th, 2009

For prospective business students, online education has always been a cost-effective option, but a new announcement from Anaheim University may make it even more attractive.

The school, which offers a range of online degrees, including MBA programs, has said it will reduce its tuition by 50 percent through the Tuition Relief Program.

This cut was made possible thanks to the help Anaheim has received from corporate and individual donors.

David Bracey, the school's representative, says the university's 2020 Vision includes a commitment to Share It Forward and to make a positive impact on society and the environment.

As part of that effort, "we have sought ways to make academics of the highest quality accessible to students around the world at this time when the global economy is impacting everyone's pocketbooks," he adds.

The educational expenses reduction project will include all incoming students who pursue online MBA degree programs, as well as the online certificate, diploma and MBA programs in sustainable management.

By some estimates, average salaries for holders of MBA degrees ranged from $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008.

Holders of green MBAs are also likely to see doors opening to rewarding business careers in the new economy.
